The IT Specialist will be responsible for managing and supporting the organization's information technology systems at AutoPak Engineering, an affiliate of Ultimate Solutions Corp. Reporting to the OpEX Manager, this role will ensure regulatory compliance, support serialization initiatives, and contribute to the seamless integration of automation solutions within the company's IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Provide frontline technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems, escalating issues as needed.
Stay informed about regulatory requirements related to IT systems and data management.
Collaborate with the compliance team to ensure IT practices align with industry regulations and standards.
Assist in implementing and monitoring IT processes to maintain regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support serialization efforts, ensuring IT systems align with serialization requirements.
Assist in integrating serialization solutions into IT systems and workflows.
Identify opportunities for automation within IT processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Collaborate with the automation team to implement and maintain automation solutions within the IT domain.
Promote cybersecurity awareness among end-users and ensure compliance with security policies.
Participate in security training programs and initiatives.
Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
Ensure that all IT assets are properly accounted for and tracked.
Assist in implementing and maintaining data management processes to ensure data integrity, availability, and confidentiality.
Support backup and recovery procedures to mitigate data loss risks.
Liaise with IT vendors and service providers to resolve issues and ensure the smooth operation of IT services.
Assist in evaluating and recommending new IT products and services.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
Contribute to the development and delivery of training programs for end-users.
Identify areas for improvement within the IT environment and operational processes.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends to make recommendations for innovation.

Required Education and Training:
Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Relevant experience in IT support, preferably in a regulatory compliance and automation-focused environment.
